3 simple steps:

Step 1 :

Select your damaged PST file or let the software find the file in your system.

Step 2 :

After selecting the PST file, click "Start" to start the scanning process.

Step 3 :

After the scanning process is completed, the software displays a preview of e-mails, calendar, tasks, etc.

Simply save the repaired emails by clicking the "Save" button at the top of the software.

Repair of faulty Outlook PST

With the OneSafe Outlook PST repair tool you can easily repair Outlook PST files with errors. When you start this software, it automatically displays a "Select Outlook Mailbox" dialog box. However, the "Select Outlook Mailbox" dialog box can also be opened by selecting "Select Outlook Mailbox" from the File menu. This dialog box gives you an option to select the PST file from a known file path. If you do not know the file path, you can click on "Find Outlook File" to open the "Find Mailbox" dialog box. You can then specify the hard disk on which you want to search for the PST files. Then click Start to search for files. This way you can easily repair your faulty/inaccessible Outlook mails. You can see the preview of the mails and other elements in the right window.

Find or sort repaired mails

There can be a large number of mails in the PST. To narrow down the search for specific mails, the software offers various options such as "Find Message" and "Arrange by". By using these options you can find and repair a specific message in the PST file. To find a message, click the "Find Message" icon in the file menu. This will display a "Find Message" dialog box. There you can specify various search criteria, such as recipient, sender, subject, date. Once you have specified the search criteria, you must click on the "Find Now" button to start the search. This creates a list of emails that match the search criteria. You can double click on an individual mail to open it. In the same way, you can also sort the mails by different groups, such as "Date", "Sender", "Recipient", "Subject", "Type", "Attachments" and "Meaning", etc. To do this, right-click on the respective fields in the preview and select the group.

Save repaired Outlook PST

After the mails are repaired, you can save the PST file to any desired destination. Click the "Save Repairde File" icon in the File menu. You can also save the selected messages in another format such as EML, MSG, RTF, HTML, PDF, DBX or MBOX. Alternatively, you can save any message from the search results list by simply right-clicking and selecting the desired format in which to save the message. In addition, you have two notable options to compress or split the PST file before saving the repaired PST file.

How to read mails in EML, MSG, RTF, HTML, PDF, DBX and MBOX format

To read the saved messages in EML and MSG format, you need to install MS Outlook on your system. Saving the PST as a DBX means that you need MS Outlook Express to import and read the DBX file. The MBOX file can be imported into any mail application, such as Spicebird, Eudora, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey. Whereby, to read RTF, HTML and PDF files, you need WordPad, a browser and a PDF reader. To read an e-mail saved as an EML file, you must navigate to the destination of the EML file. Double-click to open the file as a normal e-mail in the MS Outlook window. To read an e-mail saved as an MSG file, you must navigate to the destination of the MSG file. Double-click to open the file as a normal e-mail in the MS Outlook window. To read an e-mail saved as an RTF file, you must navigate to the destination of the RTF file. Double-click to open the file as a normal e-mail in WordPad. To read an email saved as HTML file, you must navigate to the destination of the HTML file. Double-click to open the file as a normal e-mail in the default browser. To read an e-mail saved as a PDF file, you need to navigate to the destination of the PDF file. Double-click to open the file as a normal e-mail in the PDF Reader. The DBX file is automatically saved to the Outlook Express location. To read the mail, you must start Outlook Express. To read the mails as MBOX, you have to import the MBOX file into any of the applications Spicebird, Eudora, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey to read all mails.

Compress large PST & save

The software includes very impressive features to compress the PST file before saving it. You can compress a large PST file after it is repaired. This feature is helpful in reducing the size of your PST file and you can also have other options such as

Splitting the repaired PST & saving

OneSafe Outlook PST Repair (Tech) allows you to split the repaired PST file before saving it. There are several criteria, such as mail ID, size and date, on the basis of which you can split the PST file. Split by Mail ID means the software will split the PST based on the selected Mail IDs. You can also split the PST file into size ranges of 500 MB, 1000 MB, 1500 MB or 2000 MB. If you choose date, the tool will split the PST based on the dates you specify.

Restoring the calendar entries

The tool offers five calendar options with which you can work. You can select the "Calendar" option at the bottom left of the interface. Use this option to list entries for days, workdays, weeks, or a month. Day: This option lists all entries of a specific day, from the list of scanned emails. Work Week: These options list all entries of a work week (From Monday to Friday). Week: This option lists all entries of a week (from Monday to Sunday). Month: This option lists all entries of a specific month. However, if you want to see all entries of a certain date, you can select the "Go To" option. This option can also be selected on the Software Toolbar.
